Hey everyone! One of my favorite Spotify playlists just got a really interesting new addition today. The artist sent me this track through SubmitHub along with a short note saying, “This one will make you smile.” And I’ve got to admit — I was intrigued.
From the very first notes, I was totally drawn in. This warm track is called “All in My Head” by Alexander John, and it’s great for at least two reasons.
First — it’s written in 3/4 time. I love music in 3/4. There’s just something about that rhythm that feels naturally uplifting, at least to me. Writing a sad waltz, in my opinion, is much harder than writing one that’s joyful and full of life.
Second — the sound. The tone is crisp yet gentle, and the way each note is played feels so pleasant. The low notes are rich and clean — the kind of sound that makes you want to hit replay again and again. I’m sure this track will keep warming your heart for a long time.
It’s short — just 1 minute and 21 seconds — but honestly, that’s more than enough. Sometimes a piece doesn’t need to be long to leave a mark.
All in all, this track hit the right spot. I love collecting music like this for my playlist, and this one definitely lands in my top 10 for at least the next few months.
I’ll drop the link to both the track and my playlist in this post so you can check it out and enjoy it too.
