"Okay, you know those songs that just make you want to curl up in an armchair with a blanket? Like, fireplace crackling, mug of mulled wine in hand, and zero thoughts in your head? Well, the track I'm about to tell you about is totally one of those.
It's called "Trost," and it's by this German composer and pianist named Nikolas Christ. It popped up for review on SubmitHub. And honestly, listening to it got me thinking, "Man, there are a lot of tracks like this out there." My playlists are full of 'em! But that doesn't mean you can't still find something that surprises you, right?
The piano playing is just so gentle, like a soft voice, with these pauses that really add to the warmth and coziness. What else did I love? I think it was the opening chords that grabbed me. They felt like the light touch of someone you love. Then, around 1:25, the music starts this little dance, like a breezy run through life, with all its everyday routines and little joys.
And the ending? Just as soft as the beginning. No doubt, this track is going straight into my playlist. And I'm definitely recommending you go give "Trost" a listen right now and soak up all that coziness and tenderness."
