Warm Inside

Warm and cozy

Hey everyone, what’s up, my dear readers and friends!

Today, an interesting track landed in my SubmitHub pitch inbox. I wouldn’t call it super original, but there’s definitely something special about it.

Music, to me, is almost always about feelings, emotions, and the images it sparks in your mind. The track “Road to Cognac” caught me with its sincerity and warmth — the kind I often felt in my childhood. This music paints a picture of pure comfort and coziness in my imagination: a home, a fireplace, that soft sense of warmth created not just by the space itself, but by the people around you.

That’s what I felt within the first few seconds of listening. The opening melodic phrase — simple, effortless, ending with those light sixteenth notes — that’s what hooked me right away. And the cherry on top? The felt piano. This warm track just wouldn’t sound the same without it — that soft, slightly room-noisy tone gives it so much character. The only thing missing is the crackle of a fireplace.

I highly recommend giving this one a listen if you’re someone who values warmth and love wrapped up in music.
